Changzhou China Dinosaur Park took 2
years and USD 35 millions to complete
the first phase. It covers an area totaling
600,000 square feet.
The museum is formed of three parts,
i.e. exhibition, entertainment and research.
Thirty six skeleton fossils as of Yangchuanosaurus,
Mamenchisaurus (a kind of 72-foot long
dinosaur, which has the longest neck of
any animal ever, and the smallest head
compared to body size) and Tyrannosaurus
rex representing varied geological times
and excavation sites in China will be
on display. Along with these invaluable
exhibits, the masterpiece is the Chinese
Dinosaur-bird Fossil, which is certified
as the most precious fossil in the world.
Different from traditional museums, every
exhibition hall in this new-notion museum
has specific characteristics of its own,
showing the highest hi-tech effect of
sound, light and electricity, featuring
VCD, Cartoon and Internet Game.
Surrounded by a realistic environment
setting of waterfall, cliff, ocean, forest
and caves, visitors will be in a wonderful
odyssey from the Jurassic period when
dinosaurs first dominated on Earth to
the end of the Cretaceous period when
they extinct , highlighting the theme
of protecting zoology and environment.
Furthermore, as represented by large traveling
dinosaur exhibitions in Hollywood's Jurassic
Park and 48 six-dimension movies on the
"dinosaur extinction" there
are shown the fullest appeal of Changzhou
"Jurassic Park" to visitors
for its great educational, scientific,
and entertaining value. Moreover, there
are some large-medium sized entertainment
equipment, delicate plant arboretums and
other cool recreations available for visitors
in the Oriental Jurassic Park.
